Wedding Sneak Peak. Mount Beacon Bed and Breakfast! Wedding in Beacon NY

No comments:
Helena and Daniel have lived everywhere, Sweden, NYC, Asia...
(and a few other countries and continents as well)
They have been together for about 7 years and had a long distance relationship for part of it. When they lived in Manhattan they did weekend escapes here in my home, Beacon NY. It is such an honor to know that with all of the amazing places they have lived and experienced over the years, they picked here.

Officiant... Jeanne Stark of Hudson Valley Ceremonies

This was one of the most eventful weddings I have done in a very long time.  If you follow me on Facebook you'll know that the weekend had an exciting start when the Groom inadvertently LEFT the wedding dress on a curb in Manhattan, as he was getting into his taxi. Helena, while upset handled the situation better than the best wedding planner, she ran to a favorite vintage store and grabbed her new dress (2 hours before she was driving up to Beacon)

I thought it would be a cute idea to have Peoples Bicycle take the couple for a bit of a ride, but I had no idea how cool and fun it would be! The pedicab is black and white and he informed us that he would have "Just Married" Signs, lights, etc... available for any couple. So, skip the golf cart and call Jon at Peoples Bicycle.

On their wedding day after taking some photographs, Helena and Daniel turned the corner at the Bed and Breakfast and were shocked to see two of their best friends standing there. They flew all night from London and drove immediately to the Inn and made it one hour before the ceremony. I never witnessed such joy, it was awesome to see!

Great photo Barry!!! (Looks like a movie still)

Dropping rose petals on the couple is apparently a Swedish tradition and it was also unexpected.

Beacon NY is becoming a destination for weddings and elopements in the Hudson Valley. We work with a terrific bunch of professionals to take care of every need you may have. More information for all of you coming soon, stay tuned!
